Week 9 Picks

Things are getting hot in the in the 2010 Cheddar Bay Invitational over at Cleveland Frowns. Even a five-point effort last week wasn’t enough as jimkanicki continued a roll that has seen him go 11-1 against the spread the last three weeks.

He missed the Virgina Tech game already this week, so now that we have him on the ropes it’s time to work the body and cut into the 6.5-point deficit:

Boise State (-21) vs. Hawaii

Oregon (-35.5) vs. Washington

NY Giants (-7) vs. Seattle

Money pick: Pittsburgh (-4.5) vs. Cincinnati

Back to back weeks were we made solid fundamental picks but the players didn’t execute have dropped us 5.5 points off the lead in the 2010 Cheddar Bay Invitational over at Cleveland Frowns.

Time to get serious:

New England (-5) vs. Minnesota

Week 7 Picks

A simply dreadful week where we made solid picks but the players didn’t execute dropped us a half point off the lead in the 2010 Cheddar Bay Invitational over at Cleveland Frowns.

We jumped out early this week in an attempt to get our mojo back and scored by backing Oregon (-25.5) against UCLA.

The rest of the week goes like this:

Money pick: Baltimore (-13) vs. Buffalo

Week 6 Picks

Another solid five-point week – our third week of five or more points this season – pushed us back to the top of the 2010 Cheddar Bay Invitational over at Cleveland Frowns.

None of this week’s college games really excited me, but here we go anyway:

NY Giants (-10) vs. Detroit

Tennessee (-3) vs. Jacksonville

And the money pick: San Diego (-8.5) vs. St. Louis

After a miserable 1-3 week (the picks were sound, the players just didn’t execute) dropped us a half-point off the lead in the 2010 Cheddar Bay Invitational over at Cleveland Frowns, it’s time to get the magic back.

This week we like:

Boise State (-39) vs. Toledo

Houston (-3) vs. NY Giants

Akron (+17) vs. Kent State

And the money pick: NY Jets (-4) vs. Minnesota.

Week 4 Picks

After a perfect Week 3 pushed into the lead of the 2010 Cheddar Bay Invitational over at Cleveland Frowns, it’s time to keep the magic going.

This week we like:

Pittsburgh (-1) vs. Baltimore

San Diego (-8) vs. Arizona

Atlanta (-7) vs. San Francisco

And the money pick: Army (+5) vs. Temple.

Here’s why:

Saturday along the banks of the Hudson River, the Black Knights of Army host Temple. The game marks Homecoming at West Point, and the first 5,000 fans will receive a bobblehead doll of Heisman trophy winning running back Glenn Davis, Mr. Outside to Doc Blanchard’s Mr. Inside. Army has had this game circled since the start of the season, as it offers an opportunity at payback against the Owls. Last year’s defeat against Temple left Army one game short of its first bowl appearance since 1996. Bobblehead of a legendary player … Homecoming game … marching cadets … payback … and they’re getting points? The lock of the week.
